i succumbed to an iphone after mike got his, i just couldnt put it down and threw a hissy when he had to take it to work, haha. i've had mine since wednesday and i love it to bits. the applications are pretty sweet, especially the lj updater. maybe now i'll actually update more than twice a year? right now though, im actually updating with my laptop while i'm here.
i would say that nothing exciting has happened lately, but thats because it me its old news. new news to you guys, is that me and mike are off travelling europe in september. not the whole of europe, but we're heading to france [paris and leon], switzerland [zurich] and italy [milan and pisa]. to finish off, we're driving down to seggiano [a little village just outside of tuscany] for our friends' wedding and staying in a pretty huge villa for a week. i cant decide which im looking forward to, the travelling or a chilled out week at the villa with all our friends. ♥
oh, and in case you haven't noticed:
my lvjrnl is now part public, part friends-only. but mostly friends-only.

the stereophonics last night were awesome, possibly in my top three gigs to date (in case you were wondering, the eels and metallica are number one and two). we decided to stay over in blackburn in the end, instead of messing around with trains and whatnot after the gig. the hotel we stayed in was really pretty, not something we were expecting from a pub lodge, and for only £55. put it this way, they are near enough malmaision quality.
the only bad thing about last night is that i forgot my camera, how fucking gutted was i? we were in the front row as well, so i had a good view of the band which made it worse (not being in the front row itself, but the fact i was in the front row and had no camera). mike got pretty wasted, not only at the gig, but when we got back to the pub we stayed at the bar for last orders.
being at the gig last night made me want to get involved in band photography again ♥

i finally uploaded photos from the unity hall (wakefield) charity gig on monday night. inamba, crygirlcry and lapels were on the bill. i still have to sort out the photoshoot ones, but i am so tired. i had so much more shit to sort out as well, but that has to wait until ..well, whenever. im at another gig tomorrow and at michaels on friday. so far ive got nothing planned on saturday. just wait though. something always happens. scuse thıs shıtty turkısh keyboard. so yeah, apparently the turkey bombıngs are ın the UK news and yeah ıt shıt me up but not that much seen as ım stıll here. ıt should of done, seen as ım only 300 yards away from the ''blast'' (ı dıdnt even hear ıt. ı was gettıng trashed ın a bar on the beach). apart from that, the holıday has been awesome so far. ı dont want to come home. really.

i went to the butch walker gig in islington with heather last night. eh, i sound so casual about it! it was the best moment of my entire life, haha. i was completely blown away and yeah i know im a saddo. but i have photographic evidence! only a few, because a) i dont have the time to uplod them all, b) i picked the best shots, and c) there is no c. i just made that up. ha! fooled you! haha, you know what. i had the strangest dream that livejournal deleted my account because i dont respect it enough. but yeah, im still here. ive been so busy and lvjrnl has took a backseat. oh, news. ive now lost a total of 11.5lbs, the butch walker experience (and *cough* the heatherexperience) is coming up in one week (ohmygodohmygod) and im going to turkey on the 25th for 2 weeks. im still single and i dont give a fuck. im actually quite happy this way, thanks. |

mood: hungry music: pink: who knew sweetjesus, the second i get paid i go and blow a majority on cosmetics and you know, shit that keeps me looking this good *flicks back hair* ;]. only two months ago i bought a babyliss hairdryer, a supposedly professional one with ionic technology or something. yeah, right. so i bought a new one from boots by nicky clarke and ohmygod, i actually came when i tried it back at home, haha. i bought some serum [£11, i think i died and went to hell.] and a new ceramic curling brush [£8 - if theres anyplace worse than hell, i went there next.], and some lipgloss and eyeliner. plus a mobile phone for my mums birthday. i went through at least £100 easily. PS. last night i went to blockbusters and rented buffy season five. :]
